Join the parade!

The Holt Hometown Festival Committee would like to extend you an invitation to join the Festival Parade. The parade will start from the parking lot of the Holt Junior High School on Aurelius Road at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23th, 2008. Participating entries will need to be present in the parking lot no later than 10:30 a.m.

We encourage our hometown businesses, organizations, churches, etc. to participate. Why should you join?

• Free advertising
• Building Relationships
• An award for the best float
• It's Fun!

This year's parade route (total distance 1.7 miles) is as follows: From the Holt Junior High School:

• North on Aurelius to Holt Rd (0.4 miles)
• East on Holt Rd. to Cedar St. (0.4 miles)
• South on Cedar St. to Hall St. (0.1 miles)
• West, then South on Hall St. to Sycamore St. (0.2 miles)
• West on Sycamore St. to Aurelius (0.4 miles)
• South on Aurelius to School (0.2 miles)
